His Grace

Driving home from the gym this morning, we passed many cars and school buses.

People starting their day.

Parents going to jobs to earn a paycheck.

Students going to school and taking classes to earn grades.

Their gain coming from their works or efforts.

Salvation doesn’t work that way.

It does not come through anything we have done, but through God’s grace and Christ’s sacrifice.

“For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ! So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭TPT‬‬

As you start this week, reflect on this unimaginable gift that is yours, simply because He loves us that much.
